· Daily Faith-Based Character Education lesson · Natural and Peer assigned consequences · Assessment - All youth are assessed by Licensed Mental Health Professionals · Community assistance through sponsoring churches · First Aid - Each course has staff that are trained Wilderness First Responders. This includes 80 hours of training for medical situations when assistance is more than an hour away. · Wilderness Keys for Parents, available in select areas · — helps parents to assist their youth in bringing home and living out the lessons learned in the wilderness.

Wilderness Keys for Life is a 21 day experiential education based program that targets fourteen to sixteen year old youth and incorporates adventure in learning problem solving and decision making skills. The Wilderness gives new eyes and ears for the youth to see, hear and understand the possibilities open to them. The faith-based character education helps youth become adults grounded in the same values and character that have made this country strong for more than 200 years. The program includes: · A 21 day backpacking adventure · Leave No Trace—curriculum followed in Teaching Wilderness Ethics · Wilderness Education Association’s 18 point curriculum is used to teach wilderness skills
